Role Purpose
Create a safe and healthy work environment by identifying potential hazards, developing safety policies, conducting training, and promoting a culture of safety among employees to implement and oversee safety protocols and practices within Nesma & Partners.
Key Accountabilities
Operational Direction
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures that align with local, state, and federal safety regulations and industry best practices to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
- Organize and conduct safety training programs for employees, to ensure they are aware of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper use of safety equipment.
- Analyze previous accidents and near-misses to develop strategies for accident prevention to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and Nesma & Partners policies in order to stay up-to-date with changing safety laws and standards.
- Maintain records of safety incidents, inspections, and training activities and prepare reports on safety performance for management review.

- Follow all relevant HSSE processes, policies, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

- Conduct all activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner in compliance with internal policies and guidelines.

Technical Essential
Education/Certification
- High School/Vocational Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- 0 - 4 years’ related experience in roles within similar positions.
Languages
- English
Skills
- Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance Knowledge, Quality Management System (QMS) Proficiency, Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment, Digital Documentation and Record Management, HSSE Expertise.
Techical Preferred
Education/Certification
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or similar certifications.
Experience
- Experience in the EPC industry.
