Role Purpose
To provide training to apprentices under the Nesma High Training Institute, ensuring all relevant craft related skills are learned, and all safety measures are met, to facilitate apprentices in obtaining certification in the chosen field in support of Nesma & Partners Nationalization objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Follow all relevant NHTI processes, policies, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Demonstrate compliance with the organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization.
Training Program Development
- Establish key skills needed and develop/design programs, to meet requirements as indicated by senior management at Nesma & Partners.
- Provide succinct trade lesson plans, ensuring all identified trades are fully covered.
- Conduct training in alignment with Nesma & Partners best practices within the specific trades.
Assessment and Grading
- Write and administer tests, to ensure trainees have sufficiently understood how to complete skills and ensure all safety and regulatory requirements are met.
- Record trainee’s attendance, to compile a report allowing for accurate tracking.

- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Management
- Conduct all activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner in compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards.

Technical Essential
Education/Certification
- High School/Vocational Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- 6 years’ related experience in roles within similar positions.
Languages
- English

- Curriculum Design, Technical Training Delivery, Adherence to Learning Objectives, Regulatory Compliance, Quality Assurance, Knowledge Transfer.
Techical Preferred
Education/Certification
- Masters in Business Administration, Engineering, or any other related field.
- Certified Engineering Sales Professional (CESP), Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP), or similar certifications.
Experience
- Experience in the EPC industry.
